Let Em Ride

This is one of those poker variations where players don’t play against the dealer (the house) but against each other. The way to bet in Let It Ride is quite peculiar as well; each player gets three cards face-down. Additionally, the dealer sets two cards in the middle of the table - these are the community cards.

Basically, the cards in your hand combined with the community ones at the table are supposed to give you a winning hand. The game generally consists of three rounds, and in each one of them, you get to put in a wager. It is a game of high risk because you never know if you will win some money until the very end.

Once all the players have put in their initial wagers and received their hands, they need to choose if they will pull out their bet from the game, or let it ride. You can do this in both the 1st and 2nd round. Both of the rounds give you the freedom to return your wager or continue betting. In the third round, the dealer reveals the second card and all the players show their hands. Only then does everyone know the winner who gets the pot is.
