Pai Gow Poker
The main difference between classic Pai Gow and the one by RTG hides in the fact you play one with dominoes and the other using cards. The West has taken upon this entertaining game and adapted it to the way they play other casino games.
Although enjoyable, a lot of players are intimidated by it at first. Deep in its roots though, Pai Gow is very simple to play. In this poker variation, you bet against the dealer, not against other players. There can be a maximum of 6 people at the table, and the game uses a regular 52-card poker, including one Joker.
In Pai Gow, you play with two hands. A small and a big one. Don’t get confused though - they often call them high and low hands as well. Additionally, you need to make sure that your small hand beats the high one. So if you get a pair of 6 in the small hand, your big hand needs to have a stronger pair if you wish to win money.
Once you’ve put in your bet, the dealer reveals yours and their cards. If both of your hands are better than theirs, you win. In case they have better hands, you lose. In case you win one hand and dealer the other, it is a tie.
If you prefer to play online when you gamble, definitely try Pai Gow. And if you go for the RTG version, you get to play for free as well.
